The CNAG has obtained the SGS Certification ISO 9001:2008 for the management and performance of high throughput sequencing and genomic analysis projects and services

In December 2014 the CNAG obtained the SGS Certification ISO 9001:2008 for the management and performance of high throughput sequencing and genomic analysis projects and services.

This certification guarantees high levels of service quality and a strict monitoring of internationally recognized quality management principles. All the processes involved in the development of the CNAG projects have been rigorously audited by an external and independent accredited certification body.

The accreditation is valid for a period of 3 years with an annual revision to ensure the strict observance of quality standards in all processes. The CNAG offers highest standards of quality to collaborators for genome sequencing and data analysis for a wide range of applications. The ISO 9001:2008 Certification adds to other two accreditations recently obtained:

- Illumina Certified Service Provider CSPro for sequencing
- Agilent Certified Service Provider CSP for target enrichment
