The Single Cell Genomics Group is dedicated to advancing genome research of single cells, to elucidate causalities underlying cell identities in health and disease.

The objective of the Group is to implement the latest single-cell sequencing technologies and their application in a research and translational/clinical context, focusing on cell atlas projects, immuno-oncology and immune-mediated diseases. The Group joins computational, genomics, immunology and biotechnology expertise to apply best practices in single-cell and establish protocols to quantify gene expression, immune repertoires and open chromatin sites.

The Group is a member of projects such as DocTIS, BCLLatlas, Human Cell Atlas (HCA), ESPACE and LifeTime initiative, with the aim of generating atlases of human immune cells, the pancreas and kidney.
