Quality and Information Security Policy

The CNAG’s management has established the following Quality and Information Security Policy for genome sequencing, analysis projects and human genome online platforms. The management of CNAG is committed to:

 

  • Apply the principles of good practice to ensure the quality of genome sequencing and analysis service offered to our collaborators.
  • Provide expertise in project design, sequencing, data analysis and interpretation.
  • Maintain the Integrated Management System state-of-the-art in methods for massively parallel sequencing and data analysis for a wide range of applications.
  • Ensure that all our personnel know our Integrated Management System Documentation and guarantee the effective implementation of the procedures in accordance with the established methods.
  • Ensure that all activities are undertaken impartially, structured and managed to safeguard impartiality.
  • Comply with all legal, ethical and applicable regulatory requirements and the standards ISO 9001, ISO / IEC 17025 and ISO / IEC 27001.
  • Continually improve the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System focused to establish the appropriate measures to protect the information, infrastructures and communications between CNAG and collaborators.
  • Guarantee the availability of services, integrity and confidentiality of sequencing and analysis data.
  • Ensure personal data privacy in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Promote and support the implementation of the necessary measures to minimize the risks of information being compromised.

 

This Policy will be reviewed annually and complemented with established quality and security objectives for each year. It is available to all stakeholders through its publication on the website, and internally by dissemination to the different areas of the organization.
